Location: Lower the Hutt, New Zealand
Imperial:
The Emperor, Reborn (In the Dark Empire comics, Sidious was an uber-beatstick – he needs to be a good saber-waver, methinks!)
A new Order 66 Palpatine, perhaps?
Executor Sedriss
Admiral Da’ala
Lord Shawdowspawn (perhaps he should have an ability like Force Dominate, but more powerful and longer lasting – and a CE for Shadowstormies?)
or Cronal/Blackhole
Head of State Fel
Captain/Admiral Needa

New Republic:
A Chewbacca!
Jag Fel (with crushgaunts!)
Lando! (with CE/SA/Rapport or something with YVHs)
Danni Quee (perhaps an expensive character who nerfs Yammosk – a situational character)
A new Kyp Durron

Sith:
Welk
Alema Dar
Abeloth!!!
Lady Rhea
Vestara Khai
Gavar Khai
Lord Taalon
Sith Saber
Keshri Slave
Kas’im the Blademaster

Rebel:
Luke, Last of the Jedi (I always ask for it, I know, and we technically got it with Epic-Luke, but I really, really, really would like to see the uber-melee-luke from RotJ where he whips Vader up a treat.)
A new Biggs Darklighter
A new Garm Bel Iblis
One of our guys suggests this for a Chewie:
Unique HP 160
Wookiee Att. 10
Pilot Def. 20
Momentum Dmg. 20
... Bowcaster: replaces attack, make an attack with accurate shot and +4 attack and +10 damage
Close-Quarters Fighting: +4 against adjacent
Immobilising rend: if both attacks hit the target the target is immobilised
Protective +20 (Leia/Solo)
Wookiee charge: replaces turn, move speed and make two attacks. At the end of the first attack opponent large or smaller is pushed back one square.
Flavour text : "But sir, nobody worries about upsetting a droid."
"That's 'cause a droid don't pull people's arms outta their sockets when they lose."

Mandalorian:
Goran Bevin

Separatist:
A holo-Sidious (with something to boost Living Seps)
Kul Teska - should have grappling hook, quad-arm cannon, shoulder rockets, flight

Republic:
C3P0!
A new Republic Palpatine

Fringe:
Craddosk
UnuThul!!!! (When he first appeared in the Dark Nest Trilogy, he calmly walked in and squashed the gun turret of the Falcon like it was nothing.)
Killiks
D'harhan
Lord Nyax/Irek Ismaren (Actually - I have no idea what faction he would be on - Sith maybe? - but a 6-lightsaber custom would be awesome...)
A new Guri – one who scares the pants of people.
Chief Chirpa (It would be great for him to give C3PO Ewok Deity something too – like a CE or SA so he’d actually be useful. Either Camaraderie or “a character on your squad whose name contains ‘Ewok Deity’ gains …”)
A new Talon Kaarde
A new Aurra Sing
A new Sly Moore

I'd love to see a chewie (or wookiee) with rend. how iconic, yet overlooked.

+1 to most on this list. There are a few I'm unfamiliar with, but most look great!

A potential movement breaker:
Aggressive footing: When an adjacent enemy would provoke an attack of opportunity by moving, this character may forgo its attacks and instead move with it. It must end adjacent to the enemy if possible. This movement does not provoke attacks of opportunity, though is slowed by difficult terrain and low objects. If the movement exceeds double this characters speed, it stops its movement immediately. Force points can be used to increase this movement if the player chooses.

I like this, but I would change the way it works some...

Aggressive Footing: If this character does not make any attacks of opportunity this turn, when an adjacent enemy moves on its turn, this character may immediately move into the space that it occupied. This character may not move more than its speed on one turn using Aggressive Footing. This movement does not provoke attacks of opportunity.

I updated my version to replace AoOs and not trigger on flight without future bonuses from another piece.

I want to see a Force power that works with Garm's CE.

Lightsaber Attacks: Force X. Usable only on this character's turn. On its turn, this character can make X extra attacks instead of moving.

Can you add in a v-set Mouse Droid please.

I recently started in the game and am now looking at building up my range and selection of pieces. I am finding it hard to get hold of some core small pieces. I’m in New Zealand and am having to import them into country at a hefty cost. If a Mouse Droid was to become a v-set piece then I could look to make them.

Cheers Guys.

I don't know where you are in New Zealand but it does have a rather large mini community I believe. Are you by the Save 11 community? You could talk to the user named "the Hutts" he lives in Upper Hutt N.Z. he could probably help you out.

Kezzamachine is our charismatic leader of Save11, and he's set up a big Facebook Save11 group that I assume Nick's part of. I just post a lot.

With the Mouse Droid idea, IMO, I'm not that keen on it. I think it's great that a new player can now build a competitive squad at Star Wars Minis without having to outlay too much for pieces, but I don't know that unlimited Mouse Droids for everyone is a good idea as they're a powerful piece that had a big impact on competitive games for a long time.

The 10 Mouse Droid dump isn't as common as it was; it's still maybe a valid option for some squads, but there are more heavy low-activation squads then there used to be, and it's easier to win without an activation advantage than it was before the v-sets. In my opinion, just having 2 or 3 should be enough for most squads.

The v-sets have done a lot to discourage Mouse Droid use, with pieces like Momaw Nadon and Wuher, and by handing out abilities like Booming Voice/Coordinated Command to provide alternatives to Mouse Droids for relaying commander effects, and it seems like a v-set Mouse Droid would counteract this to some extent. There's no precedent of re-releasing wotc pieces through the v-set; another piece with Relay Orders is probably a better option. Something like a cheap unique with Cloaked and Relay Orders could be viable.

I played for more than a year before I even had my own Mouse Droid - there are some factions where you can get away without a Mouse Droid fine, like Republic, Imperials, and Vong, although even there they are useful as cheap blockers. They used to be more expensive than they are now - it looks like they're currently going for around US $7, but I think they were more like US $10 at one stage. I grabbed a bunch last year when they came down to US $4, but I still only have 6 or 7.

PS. Welcome to the forums nznick! Are you one of the Hamilton crew?

I should play some games while I have some free time. But since I'm enjoying so many of the V-set pieces's new abilities and CE's, I'll try and throw out some ideas. If they have already been brought up in the past , oh well.
Nightsister on Rancor is avery clever piece. I Like the dismount: (When this character is defeated, you can immediately add a character named Nightsister Sith Witch to your squad, regardless of faction; save 11. The new character sets up in a square this character formerly occupied.)

I can think of pieces like:
Darth Maul on speeder
Kenobi on Boga,
Durge and Kenobi on speeder bikes, and I think there are some episodes with
Mace and Clones on the AT-RT,
(one of my fav pieces of the past) Grievous's Wheel Bike,
Yoda on Kybuck,
Han Solo on Tauntaun,
Luke Skywalker on Tauntaun,
Luke's Snowspeeder,
Luke's Landspeeder ! Kenobi and Luke :)
Imagine Tarpalas and Jar Jar on a Kaadu Laugh

If you could give them dismount... without the save 11
Anyway, you get the idea. Maybe it should be a subset or something.

Cheers

Ewok War Coordinator (Special abilities that grant bonuses to ewoks within 6 squares or commander effects normally limited to 6 squares of ewok characters in your squad (including this character) have unlimited range. You may not have more than one character with Ewok War Coordinator in your squad.)

Something like this to help out the ewok faction

The Squib Trader is basically the Vset Mouse Droid (and Ugnaught Demolitionist).

However, I am very much in favor of another 3-point piece. Something just as useful as mice/ugnaughts though perhaps only useful in certain builds. And definitely not useful in swarms. I wouldn't expect to see anything, though. I've suggested it before and others tend to not like the idea.

Blorash jelly 24
Hit Points: 60
Defense: 9
Attack: 0
Damage: 0

Special Abilities
Invisibility (Cannot be targeted by nonadjacent enemies)
Jelly (An enemy who is adjacent to this character can not move until this character is dead, if this character moves the character who cannot move is no longer under this characters effects if its no longer adjacent)

Blorash jelly, sometimes called quick-jelly, was a Yuuzhan Vong weapon that resembled a formless gelatinous blob, used to immobilize enemies.

I think this would be a pretty decent game changer as, not only is it a new fun piece for the vong, but it would be one of the first abilites to tackle movement control from the angle of instead of boosting my self, debuffing my enemys.
