As per usual practice, the recommended mini was taken from outside the Sep faction, but these guys look just like the RotS Sep Commandos, so break 'em out!

Weird choice for proxy...
I wonder if we'll get some support for non living seps. As is, i'd never go with this guy over a chameleon. Not the biggest fan of mobile attack + double attack either. That being said, i'll hold judgment until we can see what else the set has to offer.

considering they are sep and have easy access to twin i think mobile attack is just fine with these guys. a break from the double twin greater mobile evaders is always nice, plus he has stable footing which is cool, and mines which is another cool ability.

The Separatist Commando is definitely a more accurate mini to use as a proxy, but we will always try to choose something out of faction to represent characters, especially non-uniques. The Sep Commandos are pretty bad pieces now, so it probably wouldn't come up too often, but in mass battle or scenario play it's not unreasonable that a squad might have both Sep Commandos and Nimbus Commandos, and if they both had the same mini it would quickly get confusing. That's why it's our policy to always try to pick a mini outside of the faction of the mini we're making to use as the RM.

As for mobile + double, Deaths_Baine basically hit the nail on the head. It will be very easy for these guys to get Twin, so with Mobile and Stable Footing they will be very mobile characters. If they're in a position that they don't need to move, though, you can use Double and get 4 attacks off when you have Twin. It gives you options when you play them, instead of always having one way to play them: you can either keep moving around with Mobile/Stable Footing and taking shots without giving your opponent any return fire, or you can have them stand still and get double the damage output but lose that mobility.

I've been wanting a Nimbus Commando for so long! I have little doubt the seps will be getting some kind of attack boost for living things soon. I hope in this set. I would love to use these guys, stable footing everywhere, twinning and hopefully with some +4 attack boosts.

Can't wait to see the rest of this set. Hopefully we get their commander, whatever his hame is. The guy with the sword.

I agree... the +9 is the problem right now, and I don't think non living seps currently have a way to boost attack.

You make quite a good point there. That would help them out a fair amount.

Solid stats, for sure, but... i dunno, its just nothing new. I don't expect every piece to have a brand new, never seen ability.. but this just doesn't "wow".

That being said... a lot of potential from various CE's of every faction.

From Wookiepedia: "In 0 BBY, they earned additional fame for being in the Mos Eisley Cantina when Luke Skywalker first met Han Solo, but in fact, the "Tonnika sisters" in the Cantina were the Mistryl Shadow Guard warriors Shada D'ukal and Karoly D'ulin, masquerading as Brea and Senni in the course of a mission."

So, the Tonnika sisters weren't actually at the Cantina...?

The reason why the Tonnika Sisters are probably in this set is because they were in Star Wars CCG. The real Tonnika sisters weren't fighters. The Mistyrl Shadowguards however are, as reflected in these stats. I like the solid stats and can't wait to try them out in a vong squad.

Going back a bit...
Here would be a good use for the new Gunray from BOT.
All those non-living seps gain Improved Spotter.
Give the Nimbus' +4att +10dam for only a 3pt Battle Droid.
Cool
(down side is the gain Speed 4)

The Tonnika Sisters aren't real impressive by themselves, but just look at the synergies they have. Perfect fit for a Black Sun squad...

I am curious to see the effect of Cassus Fett on the other thread about the state of the Mandalorians currently.

Personally I think in a lot of ways he is what the Doctor ordered, And I am glad to see him at 20 damage now too. Very nice indeed. There are a lot of interesting scenarios that can arise from playing him. Definitely one of the best out of this set, imo.
