Does the army of light trooper count as having a lightsaber? I don't think so but just clarifying.

I don't think so but just clarifying. with lightsabersCertain special abilities, such as Damage Reduction, list exceptions for enemies “with lightsabers.” It’s usually easy to tell whether or not a character has a lightsaber by checking whether its miniature has a lightsaber in hand, but a few characters do not have visible lightsabers. A character also counts as having a lightsaber if it has the Lightsaber special ability or a Force power whose name contains the word “Lightsaber.” So, no in this case.

I wonder if there is anything abusive out there with the Sarlacc? It's such a weird piece. I guess you could give it super stealth with Silri and Nyna Calixte?

Once you remove savage you can boost it however you want. But being immobile and huge at that cost makes it pretty hard to make it anywhere close to abusive.

I probably shouldn't have used the word "abusive" in my post. I mainly just wanted to brainstorm ideas for it, since it's such a unique piece.

Nyna and a character with empathy might make a nice combo with the Sarlacc. You might also go the Black Sun route to get Super-Stealth or Evade and get Karrde's boost too.
Question, just to clarify. Does the Army of Light Trooper benefit from the Arkanian Jedi General? I would think so since it benefits Old Republic (faction) troopers. I'm interested to see what Synergy Valenthyne Farfalla brings to the table.

It's hard to see how the sarlacc will effect this game. We havent had anything like this before. It really depends on your match up. Potentially giving it super stealth is one option. If you do that, and your opponent doesn't have an LOS attack, you could really wreak some havoc with it. Proper placement could shut down a strafe squad. If you put him next to a door and managed to get some good override with him, you could really limit your opponent's options, and anyone they send in to demo charge the door is going to have have to pay dearly for the collateral damage. Due to him damaging allies, there is some risk involved when fielding him. Enemy-effecting movement breakers could really get a boost here, but im not sure how practical it will be to try and set up. What i'm really liking is his area of effect. He really can shut down a good chunk of the map. Typically, emplacement's biggest issue is mobile attackers, who can usually attack it without having to leave themselves out in the open. A good placement though could set him up in a position where even mobile attackers won't be able to escape his reach, which would reach around corners.

That Sith Meditation Sphere is flipping Amazing good by force starvation in the sith, welcome to the burning hell this guy just dropped in your opponents lap! Mwahahaha! I love the potential this piece has! The Tso'asu is the Vong's anti Strafe piece. Not bad I wouldn't mind bringing one along.

Sith sphere...
To quote the universes most treacherous sith lord... "YIPEEEEE!"
Also, kudos on defensive reflexes.
On the Sphere, since it's living, it can be the target of coral implants, that should give it some impressive staying power.

We could already do that with Dessel, and the Sphere has the same poor attack rating that makes Dessel/Caedus work less well in practice than he does on paper.

I know and I know you've tried it a few times but the Sphere also gives Caedus some protection and with Splash and burning attacks some damage is more likely to stick. Plus as a follower it can get a few other boosts (expensive but it can.)

I don't think the attack is the point here (though there is something to be said for splash+burning). I'm more excited about strapping a sith beat stick to 16 square flight. This basically gives any sithlord a first-class ticket to Squishy Commander City, and an extra 90-180 extra hitpoints. Tack on booming voice and sidogram for a high capacity battery, that's quite the boost. 45 points worthy? I'm not so sure, but i don't know that i'd write it off just yet.
