Um, I think this has gone a little too far. Being passionate about this game that we all love (otherwise we wouldn't still be playing) is one thing, but drawing comparisons to genocidal murderers over it? C'mon man, it's just a game.

As for putting it into context. It's not your first time trying to tell me that I create "division" and also not the first time you have said "you would be happier playing your own game".

You have a pattern of both of those statements.
I do not want chaos. I want rules and more importantly I want to know who has authority to uphold the rules.

I'm not part of an argument. I posted two poems and compared you to Nazis in the twenties. If you would like to compare which side of the argument is acting like the Nazis we could but you wouldn't like the results.

I've got a great idea, how about we use this thread to report Gencon results and discussions there of, and if you all want to argue amongst yourselves and name call hurl insults whatever, we move that to a different thread. You can name the thread whatever you like, but I know that mst of us are sick and tired of all the bickering and infighting that takes over themforums frequently. I understand that people have sometimes strong opinions about things that pertain to this game, but if you can't keep from calling each other names and making personal attacks, then whoever you are you might want to take a step back and calm the hell down because 1. IT IS NOT PRODUCTIVE. 2. THE REST OF US ARE SICK OF IT. Seriously, some of you are lucky I'm not a moderater on this site because the ban hammer would be coming down.

So at this point, you have not discussed the topic people were discussing, you were rude, you called someone a dick and then you backed up your "buddy" whilst being rude to me and disregarding my opinion. The best part is that you called for forum rules to be followed..... You were the first person to call someone a name.

@gholli69 I love discussing the game. I think it is vital to the game to have a strong rulebook that is followed. Not that we can't be friendly and sportsmanlike in matches. No one that has ever played me has said I was rude or not fun to play. We can be good sports, competitive, and still follow rules.

If someone opens another thread I will move my posts there.

Things went down a certain way this time and like James said it is done and nothing is really going to change it this year.

But, we shouldn't keep this as a precedent. The idea of being able to go back when a mistake was found. Every game would be redone.

I wonder if people want rules and procedures in place for this kind of thing or are they ok with it happening again.
