Oddly, I bought two packs a couple of weeks ago, and I bought two more this week. I hadn't bought boosters outside of my 1 case per set at the release in years. But I'm buying some now again, because I want more custom pieces lol. Might even look into buying some smaller collections from time to time.

Mostly JA as I need light saber fodder. you can get great results making light sabers out of 1/16" acrylic rods. they can be found on eBay, or cheaper if you Google "acrylic rods for sale". I color mine with Sharpies. any color you like, for less than 10 cents per piece.

The clips give a nice mettle hilt.

when you color the acrylic, it remains translucent. like a "real" light saber.

my customising has begun. Nope. Give me a couple of days and I will have my Atris and Sora Bulq posted up here. I just need to do the painting on him and then post.

my customising has begun. It's slowed of course but we've months until the next set. I expect more DotF to trickle in until then. I'll probably start a similar thread for RaR in June. Thanks to every-one who has posted their sets here and the rest of you can keep 'em coming. It's not like this will ever close.

This thread was a really good idea and is a great source of inspiration and admiration. So if you are going to be making a Renegades & Rogues thread as well, that would just be super cool.

And not really liking the Rosie the Riveter head on the Rebel Leader. Sad thing is, if there is a Bria Tharen, I might have to slaughter another Jedi Crusader. I am currently working on Vet. Imperial Knights, a Mando Blaster-For-Hire, and another Elite Scout Trooper with another wash. I always like to 4 of any mook mini just for extras in case I lose one. Or for a Squad ability. Also have a Imperial Knight based on Treis Sinde from the Legacy comics. This is relevant because I believe that this character is what inspired the original Vet. Imperial Knights. He isn't a complicated mini. Just a head swap of Antares Draco and Count Dooku.

That is the great thing about the new sets. I only started customising a few weeks ago and it was mainly due to all the inspiration I found in the many DOTF custom threads. It gave me the confidence to try it out, and now I will never go back!
