Hey there,
I was wondering if I can reroll my failed save for Thud Bug or Split Poison to not be activated. I know Vongs have Force Immunity but since they attack, and I have to make a save, I'm tampering with my character, not the opponent's.
Or does it follow the "respond to its attacks and abilities" part from FI glossary term?

No, due to the bolded part, unless you are getting rerolls via CE rather than spending force points.
