Apparently I didn't play in a DotF booster league because I didn't run into this problem before.
I agree with the approach that the Vsets are normally part of the collection. Size of the collection should indicate how many miniatures you have, not how many cards. However, I (and others too, I'd guess) have used a second bloomilk account to track my collection for the booster leagues, and there you do only own part of a Vset for squadbuilding purposes. It would be great if there were a toggle in the collection tracker to say "include/exclude vsets" for tracking purposes.
I imagine this change would not be as simple as it might sound, though.
