I'll cite this from the DotF FAQ which I believe indirectly addresses the question: Quote:Force Withdrawal Q: Force Withdrawal says it ends prematurely if the character spends a Force point. Is that even possible after he gains Force Immunity? A: Yes, the character may still spend Force points. Nothing in the definition of Force Immunity prevents doing so.

No problem. I would like to see this situation in action sometime.

Another way too look at it is that they really aren't using the force per say, as while they have force points they don't have a force rating (why a sith trooper with holosid isn't subject to jedi hunter) I view the ce as more of a "big brother is watching you" type thing where everyone is like "oh Stang, palps is watching, don't screw up (thus rerolls) and work your hardest (extra speed)" It has been stated in other context that a force point does not the force make

I think of it more like Palps is meditating/thinking/helping the minions and is spending the force points on their behalf.
In the Vong situation, though, it's more like. Um. Yeah, I don't have story for that one. But it works okay. Incidentally, this situation would be possible in a booster game or any other non-faction game even before the Yammosk.
