So, what’s your FAVORITE and LEAST FAVORITE piece of the R&R set (and why)? (This was a tough question for me because I really like all the pieces so it’s hard to single anyone piece out for particular reason).

FAVORITE: Luke in Stormtrooper Armor. Grappling hook is a creative ability that fits the scene from the movie rather well. It’s a simple movement breaker that is not over powered, yet that six extra squares can go a long way. And, he is costed about right so he will get some use in competitive play.

LEAST FAVORITE: Jaken, Most High Priest. From a competitive stand point his commander effect is great (it’s a novel movement breaker that just may push Vong to tier one). Still, I was hoping for something a little more “evil” and “malicious” which would really describe the Vong’s nature. Regardless, I need to play it to see how it works in practice.

I think Celeste Morne is the coolest - she can be a pretty scary beatstick with Jedi Hunter, and also has the capacity to turn things into Rakghouls.

I think the designers did a good job with Thracken Sal-Solo, but I can't imagine ever wanting to play him.

Fave: I guess would be Darth Zannah, definitely a formidable duelist as she should be

Least Fave: Tie between Kaan and Dooku (as I'm not keen on them for the exact same, yet completely opposite, reasons) see here if you really care why

Hmmm... This is tough....

Favorite: Klatooinian Captain maybe, or the Chadra Fan Pilot (I'm a huge fan of the 8-12 point pieces that have access to a lot of synergy). Favorite stand-alone piece would probably be Zannah. Obviously I have a soft spot for Kyle, also.

Least favorite: Don't think I'll ever play Thrackan or the ZC Underboss, but I don't think that necessarily qualifies either as my least favorite because they have a good spot in the set. Maybe the Sith Wrangler because I'm not much of a Savage player. Absolute least favorite, though, is probably the Royal Handmaiden. She just doesn't do it for me.

Tough to say, since I had a hand in design. But if I give it my best attempt at removing my designer attachments and look at it just as a player, I'd say.

Favorite - Master Kavar (I love figures with lots of things they can do generally speaking.)
Least Favorite - umm - R2-C3PO I suppose. Some cool tricks and I think we did a very good job doing something different, but I don't really play a lot of NR. I will still use them however, probably only once though as I have a squad for em :)

Favorite is probably Atton "Jaq" Rand, because he's an excellent addition to two of my favorite factions.

For non-Unique, probably the Klatooinian Captain, for his far reaching effects, and for giving me the opportunity to field Carth Onasi.

I know Count Dooku is taking a lot of heat, so while he's my not my absolute favorite, I'll mention that he's probably in my top five. He's incredibly flavorful and provides a whole different interpretation of an existing character. I love him for many of the same reasons I loved Chancellor Palpatine.

Least favorite? Green Squadon Pilot and Stormtrooper Advance Scout. Nothing especially wrong with them, but I file them under "Meh" (as I do many non-Unique Rebs, Imps, Reps these days: "Oh, look. ANOTHER stormtrooper...).

Least favorite Unique is a tie for the Republic Commandos. Nothing especially wrong with them (and they do potentially help my favorite faction NOT helped by Atton). It's just that I wish Karen Traviss would go away.

I'd say my favorite peice from the set is the Yuuzhan Vong Slayer. I say this, because this is a peice I (obikenobi1 on gamers) playtested and had a large amount of influence over its final stats (the only SA that I didn't have a say over was Pilot, which turns out to be just fine, as it makes the Slayer much better). I take a lot of pride in what it looks like now. I felt that the Vong needed a peice with Double Attack, not Twin attack as has been the trend for non-uniques for the last buch of sets. Double attack is more useful to the Vong, imo, as it helps clear away more of the walls of minis that prevent them from being effective. I also wanted to see Deadly Attack on this peice cause it made sense according to the EU info, and they are really nasty when they crit someone (potentially they can do 100 dmg on a crit if you Master Shape, Shaper and Scarification them). The Slayer fills a gap that the vong needed and it is an excellent peice. Thank you Bill for listening to my lengthy comments on changes that needed to be made during playtesting.

My least favorite peice would probably be the Royal Handmaiden. There aren't really many Padme's that are front line shooters and so I think the body guard and decoy are kinda useless, as Padme never really fights much. I love the stats (great job by the designers!), but the whole peice is rather useless so far, as we don't have a very deadly Padme shooter.....yet

I loved most all of R&R... I cant choose between Celeste, Leviathan, and Kavar though....

My most meh would probly be Vader, or Talz Pilot, or Thracken for reasons previously mentioned.

He's always been one of my favorite characters in the verse, and i'm glad to have a "utility" version of him. I get so bored of rehashed beat sticks. I rather get a piece that takes thought and creativity to use over a cad bane any day.

Least: Sullustian
Its not a bad piece, but i was immediately turned off to it when the card I saw just before it was a commander granting pilots his exact abilities. So, no, he's not bad, but the bleed over just left me disappointed... I for one wouldn't ever include him in my pilot squads because i hate paying for abilities twice... but thats just me.

Likely to change on a regular basis, but for now Gray Jedi, followed by Wookiee Jedi. I like risky pieces, and fun non-uniques.

Least:
Thracken for sure. His CE is amusing though.

Favourite: Either Atton Rand, or Winter. I love the idea of her. Also the Chazrach is awesome.

Least Favourite: Probably the Yuuzhan Vong Fanatic guy. I didn't really like his abilities.

I'm going to go with Master Thon as favorite.

Least favorite: Wookiee Jedi. I just don't think they should have been made a non-unique, based on the canonical rarity of force-sensitive wookiees.
