So with all the talk about Mace being broken, what's your best Mace-counter squad?

Here's an attempt at Mace hate:

I'd probably drop the HK 50 for a Tactical Droid. The Assassin Droid is brutal with one.

The HK-50 is far more likely to survive a round from Mace. The change from 60hp to 70hp could be pretty huge.

Virtually any squad with a top tier shooter and a decent amount of activations.

The HK-50 is actually a pretty good call due to having a fair chance to survive a round from Mace, and the new HK-47 is great against him (cutting off Mace's CEs is a big deal). I think this squad would do quite well against him.

Let me add a couple of others (using new pieces, not including variants on older squads like adding Assassin Droids to an IG swarm which can demolish Mace). And these are just 3 of the New Dooku Squads I want to try out.

With this one Lando guards Dooku, Jarael and Durge do the dirty work. I also like having pawn targets, so when I don't need many activations I'd bring in an IG or Kel Dor to pawn (say against Mace/Yodabuck.)

Basically any Vong squad will do. Something like this would make very short work of him (and I just came up with it off the top of my head):

As much as I love the Vong, I'm going to have to say that they have a chance, but only a small one at that. Even when/if they make their saves with Crab Armor, that will not stand up against a critical from Mace that is dealing triple damage.

I just faced a Mace team today and it took out my Yobuck in 2/3 of an attack. 1rst hit was normal, next hit was critical, flurried for another critical; Yobuck was gone; Mace still had a flurry to go off of the flurry critical and he then still had one attack remaining. If that was a group of Vong, they would be messed up.

Also keep in mind that there would still be 135pts to work with on the Mace side. More than likely it will be tanked up with shooters that are going to tear the Vong appart.
