Can you move diagonally to get past a wall of enemy characters? The situation is I have three nobles all adjacent to each other in a V shape. Can someone move up, and then diagonally through my pieces to get through the Noble wall?

In the V shape, yes, you can move diagonally through them. If they were in a straight line, you could not.
