I wanted to post a topic for the discussion of the Aurra sing, jedi hunter mini

Maybe I'm biased but she seems just as playable as her clone strike counterpart, she swaps accurate and saber sweep for blaster barrage and twin, which are a good combination.

Yes she is Sep and lacks some faction support but i imagine she would work well with the clone strike sidious and a medic, he works both as a force battery for Sing and with his pawn sing can get off 2 barrages a round, though you'd wanna connect her to a medic

Unfortunately, Pawn only works on non-uniques. Actually, it's probably fortunate since then it would be too powerful.

See:joruus + Arica.

Aurra is still quite good, high hp and 60 damage on the move vs Jedi is still good last time I checked. She's good when teamed up with another sep beat like asajj

She is a fairly good mini, but her lack of defensive abilities means she gets beaten down or shot to bits quickly. The lack of faction support really hurts her (and some other living Seps). A movement breaker would go a long way.

I once played in a tourney where one's whole squad had to come from the same set (no faction rules). I played A&E - Han STA, Aurra JH, Mara Jedi, and a handful of Chadra Fans. She was really nasty being able to move 12 squares and twin LS some jedi.

She has good stats, but not having Sniper or Accurate really hurts her when it comes to competitive play. Maybe if a Sep commander comes out and give seperatist followers Cunning Attack, then we might see her played more. Until then, a 10 dmg with twin at range is really not all that impressive. I suppose it will take out mice walls...but that is about it.

Thanks guys
Accurate would really help, but it make her super expensive......if only she had stealth, that'd grant her a defensive ability befitting of the character and also a way - albeit and expensive way - of getting accurate (xizor)

My brother (Lobotnik) used a squad on me where she was backed up by 2 super beefed up T1 Bulk Loaders. It was interesting. I have been trying to refine it and improve it over time. But it was really creative. She would run out, shoot, then the droids would lift her to safety and you had to risk 80 damage worth of AoOs to run after her.

I like both Aurras though. I like using them.

The only issue with Aura, JH, is that she has to compete with the CS Aura. Twin used to give her an advantage, and was great against Melee threats. But with Whorm, it is really, really tough to justify her. Maybe in a Whormless Dooku squad.

True.....blaster barrage is better than Lightsaber sweep but with only 2 force points it doesn't count for much

If only she was fringe, then you could put her in rebels and with reikan and yodabah she'd have unlimited mobile blaster barrages
