When will V-Set #3 released???
Personally I hope it is not until Gencon 2012. (Giving the community a chance to fully digest V-Set#2)
Thanks again to all the V-Set designers and play-testers!

Echo24 said in another thread a couple of days ago: Quote:Yes, early 2012 will be the release. I'm not sure of the exact date at the moment, I believe it will be around February, so we do a release every 6 months (one at GenCon, one in February, like FlyingArrow stated). I think 2 sets a year sounds ideal - if we were only going to get 60 pieces a year, it would be better to spread them out. There's plenty of time between February and GenCon to digest a second set.

Thanks again to all the V-Set designers and play-testers! Maybe if you came by Super Games to play every once in a while you would be better able to digest the new sets. But as TheHutts pointed out, we're currently aiming for a steady release schedule of 2 sets per year; one at the beginning of the year (around February) and one at GenCon every year. That gives us enough time between sets to work on the new one (although there is a little overlap, for example early work for set 4 has already begun!), and we figure 6 months is enough time for everyone to get their hands dirty with the new stuff. I believe that 6 months between sets is approximately the time frame that WotC used when they were making 60 piece sets, too.

(I'll be there next week) Anyways, this V-Set schedule should make regionals interesting. With two sets since last year (+120 cards), there should be more of an emphasis on creative squad building, with some surprising squads catching people off guard.
