Would OF2 cancel Papa Lah's Counterattack? It seems to me that would be affecting somebody with Force Immunity.

Yes. Overwhelming Force affects Vader, not the character being attacked, so Force Immunity would have no effect on it.

But it's preventing a Force Immune character from using his ability. IE it is having a direct effect on this character.

Thus just like how a Force Immune character attacks, Lightsaber Riposte cannot be used, Counterattack cannot be used against Overwhelming Force 2.
