I'll start by requesting prayers for Darth Jim's wife in her battle with cancer.

Prayers and peaceful thoughts are appreciated for my sister-in-law, who is very near the end of a battle with leukemia. She is my favorite of the "outlaws", as my family refers to spouses. Cancer sucks.

well, now I get to join the "cancer sux" club  please pray for my  mother, as she tries to face end of life with dignity, and faith in the Father.

Jak, I pray that the Lord be with your mother and that he lay his comforting hands upon her, so that this final test in life be as comfortable as possible. I also pray that he be with you and your family, as you share even partially in this great trial and tribulation. That he be there to comfort you when her time is up and that he help you to remember when all is said and done, by his grace, you will all be together in heaven again.

Thanks, everyone. My wife is doing well. She continues to be completely in remission and is actually excited that her hair grew back full and curly. We know that, while we've returned to as normal life as possible now (She still goes each week for treatment and takes a daily battery of medication) that cancer is like a cloudy day that just won't clear... we will be dealing with that the rest of our lives. Jak, prayers for your mother and family.

I understand how you feel, Jak. My sister passed away due to cancer on the 19th at age 29... Praying for you and your family.

Prayers for your mom as well Jaq, how are things now?
