Hello everyone, it's that time of year again. Time to begin donations for V-set 3 and it's fellow microset. Vengeance is a 60 card set, and Cantina Brawl is another 12 card micro set that will be due out February 1st. As always, the cards will be professionally printed. The suggested donation for Vengeance is $20. For Cantina Brawl is $5. Obviously for both, $25.

We will be using the pointman system again this year, and that thread should be up very soon as well. Here is the paypal link for making a donation. Remember, you do not have to donate to receive a set of our cards. The donation is for the ability for us as a community to print the bulk sets of cards. If you can donate for others that you know, that's wonderful, but as always, I have little doubt we can hit our goal and will be able to get out sets to anyone who wants one. If you can't donate the full amount, that's fine too. Do what you can, it is a donation to the community to keep these projects rolling.

Here's the link to the Gamers' thread for donations.

Stuck the thread. I see that Feb. 1st is the target date for release, do you have an expected cutoff date for taking donations?

Wow...this is much better than the last set $-wise.
Was this because of all the steps Gamers took to get the production costs down?
(I remember reading about all the problems that came up with the last set and all the incurred costs from all the different sources)

Price is down somewhat because we were in fact able to cut costs on a few things. But its also down because we aren't doing an Epic set. The Epic cards are more expensive, and while we did charge appropriately for those last time around, we have a little excess overall (probably due to handing out about 1/2 the sets at Gencon in person). So that allowed us to back it down a bit.

As for Epic cards, the current plan is to work on a 2nd Epic set (fancier cards) for the Summer-Gencon release together with Set 4. And it does will indeed contain some vehicles. The working plan is to make a few new Epic characters to add for Epic Duos, and the Epic 500pt Format, and to add a few vehicles for scenario/mass battle play.

If you consider the following extremely tentative planning wise, then I will tell you what I have planned for it at the moment. Obviously this is subject to change :). But we are looking at creating stat cards for 5-7 Star Wars vehicles (could go higher) and I will be making a thread to ask for the most wanted after I finish typing this - so don't post here about it :). And then 5-7 new Epic characters. Something like that anyway.

I am new to the V-Sets and was not able to get any of the old sets professionally printed. Will you be printing more of those when the new set is printed? I would be more than willing to donate more if I had the opportunity to have a nice complete V-set. Thanks!
