I thought when the SWM line ended that there were rumors that another company would be producing Star Wars miniatures. Wasn't NECA going to give it a try or something? I can't believe no one is doing any SW RPG or minis. Has anyone heard anything?

Fantasy Flight Games bought the license. They previewed their X Wing vs TIE Fighter game. It looks interesting. But I don't think they are carrying on the WOTC game.

Thanks, wannabe. I read the wikipedia article on FFG here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fantasy_Flight_GamesThe article says that: "In August 2011 Fantasy Flight Games bought the license which allows to commercialize any card, miniature or role-playing game set in the Star Wars universe." Hopefully they will do something with the license than just the starfighter game. FFG certainly seems to be a very prolific game-maker - they make dozens of games. I'm hoping, anyway, for a smooth RPG system and a miniatures game than reflects a quick-play version of their RPG system.
