I'm looking into making a Darth Malgus mini, and would love some ideas. I saw a custom here a while back that was great, but don't remember who did it, and can't find it now. If you have done one, would you please post a pic, or link to it here. I'm open to any suggestions.
While I'm at it, what are the best (cheap) minis to use to make a custom Boba Fett? (preferably in flight)
Thanks.
P.S. Ideas for a Kueller fig would be appreciated too. ;)

That IS a good one. I would love to see a pic. I think the one that I saw before was an Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi General, from GaW.

Yeah, the Neimodian warrior is a great base for the figure. Leftieswillrule has a great one has a great one as well. I haven't tried that one yet. I know that he needed to off a Vader (the lower part of the face) and used a Mace I believe and merged them together. I saw it at the MD regional.
I personally wish to attempt to create a Darth Jadus but so far, the only one that piques my interest is the Sith Marauder. And that's only due to the head.

Cool Malgus, cool Mando too, Azman. I have seen them both before. This is my most frequented forum. I love to check out what you guys (and all the great customizers) are making. I checked out Lefties Malgus, it is the one I thought was Obi, JG, but he also used a Neimoidian Warrior. Looks like that is definitely the way to go. I may try it with a Reborn head for the hood up look. Are the shoulder pads sculpted, or cut from another?

My green stuff skills are a lill rough I seem to recall, DC, that you made a card to go along with him a year or two ago. I refrained from making a card till the book came out. Baegn, Were you looking for cards/stats and mini ideas or just a mini to go along wit your own stat ideas?

Just the fig. Do you have any pics of figs, or just the cards (which are fantastic).

You might be interested in this old link from a few years ago over on the ol WOTC site http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/75862/24076953/Some_of_my_customs?pg=2at the bottom of the page and for a few pages after it somebody made a pretty cool looking Malgus using green stuff and a Gotal Assassin as a base. DC's original card is there too. My own Malgus isn't worth showing off, but if you want to see the card, let me know.

Thanks for the link. Skinnerman02's Malgus is great. My sculpting skills are not even close to his. I like the pose of the Gotal, but think I'll have to stick with the Neimoidian.
The more pics and/or links I get the better. I can use all the reference I can get.
Darthbane53: Did you use any other figs, or sculpt the details (esp. shoulder pads)?
I would love to hear from LeftiesWillRule.....;P
I want to make this a GOOD custom, and will post pics when done.

Just the nemodian and OR Commander and green stuff. I only used the OR commando head for a base (really u can use any head), because I complected put green stuff around the head, everything else is green stuff, its really a necessity of a tool for any customiser. You can look up my guide on here under the FAQ in the stick of customs or just buy some on ebay. Yes the shoulder pads are green stuff. The cape is from some misc. magneto figure that I would never be able to find where I got it from (not a heroclix or anything). Any other questions? I have maybe 5-10 customs I have done that I still need to post one here!

Thanks. I am very familiar with green stuff. My custom thread is a few pages back, and a few are on the DotF and R&R threads. I've probably done over 100 customs since this game has been out. Some simple, some not so simple. It's great fun. With the V-sets it's been a blast. I'd rather use a good custom than a RM of a completely different fig.
