So... Burst Lightning doesn't follow targeting rules, right? Which means that Darth Maladi could be adjacent to, say, Bastila, Twin her, then use Burst Lightning to kill a Mouse Droid which was 6 squares away?

It follows targetting rules. Just like Sith Lightning.

If I recall correctly, you can't use Jedi Mind Trick in the middle of a move. You have to use it either before or after moving. Is that right? If so, I assume Burst Lightning works the same way.

Yes. "Zero time" powers cannot interrupt an action, and movement is one action.

Cool, thanks for the clarification. I wasn't asking about interrupting movement btw, just the targeting aspect. Still a pretty cool power. :)
