I understand that the initial effects from use of Magma Pebble cannot be responded to by using a Force Point. But the resulting effect of "burning" (next activation), can a Force Point be spent to re-roll the save?

My opinion is that "burning" is a condition given to the enemy figure and therefore does not retain the "Force Immune" aspect of the character it originated from.

The later "burning" saves can be rerolled, as it is no longer directly connected to the character with Force Immunity.
