That was how it WOULD have worked had the community preferred Remote Mines over Proximity Mines. We made a thread discussing the differences between the two, and there was a little more support for Proximity Mines, so we went with that.
The difference was that Remote Mines "detonated" when the character with Mines activated again. Proximity Mines detonates when the mined character activates next.
