just wondering if this is legal.

i move darth sidious within 6 squares of 1 ally, that ally is adjacent to an enemy, another ally has 10 hitpoints remaining and self destruct 40 and is further away than 6. could i pawn that ally, then choose to resolve sidious commander effect and swap those 2 allies then resolve the 10 damage of the end of turn effect from pawn?

No.

Sidious must be completely finished with all of his actions before his turn ends, so Pawn must finish first before he can finish his turn and activate his CE.
