does force renewal stack with itself? i know the answer is going to be no, but the argument came up when someone used darth sidious hologram with another ally with renewal already.
the reasoning is extra attack stacks from different sources, and so does force spirit, and the force points gained from force spirit are cumulative even though they are from different sources.
i said if sidious's commander effect had the wording for force renewal as the effect rather than gaining force renewal it would stack. but since it just grants the abilty in wont stack with other character force renewal.

Extra Attack stacks because it says it stacks.
Force Spirit is more complicated. There are two parts to it, a one time bonus and a long term bonus. The granting of Force Points points is a one time use, thus you are not benefitting from it twice, since we don't keep track where Force Points come from. The spend force points one extra time is still in effect when the second Spirit is granted, thus stacking takes place. This is covered in the FAQ.
