I have no Mandos, but there's enough good v-set stuff out there that I'm getting interested in them. Which WotC pieces are worth getting? Or can you build a good squad just with the v-set stuff?
I'm assuming that the Mandalorian Captain, Mandalorian Gunslinger, and Mandalorian Scout are good? Are any of the WotC uniques worthwhile?
Thanks for your help - I've barely played against Mandos, and I'm keen to learn more!

All the mando pieces are decent. Boba MC and Canderous are the best of the uniques. Accurate shot is really good and boba is a very consistant shooter.

I agree with Weeks, plus there's also Mandalore the Indomitable. He gives Jaina Momentum and the Captain gives her Twin Attack. I beat Kezzamachine with that squad :P

The great thing about Mandos - you can proxy pretty much any Mando piece for a Mando Vset piece and it works. So you don't have to go hunting for proxies from other factions. I have a bunch of Death Watch Raiders painted different colors. Whenever I play Mandos, I usually just say which color is what and go with that.

This is exactly what happened to me! I want them, all of them! Troll and toad had (almost) everything I needed as far as non-unique mands for I think all under or just about a dollar.

I have quite a few Mandos because I like the faction. I only play them from time to time, but when I do I find myself leaning toward the following figures (+ the vSet).
1X Captain -- A must have figure
1X Commando -- in case you need a low cost but useful figure in your build
1X Gunslinger -- I don't use them much, but for the cost I do use one from time to time
4-5X Scouts -- Nice figure all around for the cost (and not too expensive usually)
1X Boba Fett -- Great CE, and a useful figure overall (cool sculpt, too)
These and the vSets and fringe should give you some flexibility in your builds without costing you a fortune.

Thanks everyone - that Boba Fett is tempting. I think that new Fire Support Mission looks so cool - I think that's the main reason I'm keen to give them a spin.

All of the pieces are really well done, I recently had an exquisite Vizsla created by the swrogue57. However I hated to cannibalize some of the pieces needed to create Pre.
Don't forget the Mando the Ultimate.... More for Epic play these days.
