I want these! A darth vader than can help counter bastilla without nerfing her. Give him emplacement, maybe "rancor pit" SA that makes a save versus defeat when you move adjacent, or a save vs being moved nexted to an allied rancor if you base him). A new R2-D2 with all the tricks. Kinda like an epic R2, but obviously not quite THAT expensive. I'd just like to see one that can pull off all his special abilities.

YES!  An R2 that can stare down Super Battle Droids. But, should he be a Republic piece, a Rebel piece, a New Republic piece, or just have affinity for all three? I think that the latter is the best option. I think that some new Gungans, like Boss Nass, are in order. The Gungans have the potential to be a strong sub-faction. Adding on to the Gungans, I would like to see a Representative Binks, which shows Jar Jar's attempt at being a Senator. And the rest of Zayne's KotOR gang: Gryph and Camper

I'll second Calo Nord.
Would also like to see an updated Fringe Aurra Sing... assuming she's not in S&V. Jango Fett as a young Mandalorian squad leader. Cyborg Maul will be nice to see, but he should probably wait until we know more about him.
General Cracken! He would be a great Rebel with NR affinity... maybe he could bring Rebel commandos/SpecForce into NR.
Colonel Jacen Solo - NR with Sith affinity, boost for Ben Skywalker and CE for GAG troopers.
Mirta Gev, Gorin Beviin, Walon Val, and Tobbi Dala would all make good additions for Mandalorians

Animosity (this character costs one more if used in a squad with X.)
Example: Bossk working with Boba Fett.
Factional Rapport
Flexibility (mostly on Fringe)
A character that has no allegiance to one faction but enjoys the perks of one faction
Ex. Kaliyo from TOR. She works with the Sith but is predominately Fringe
Manipulative loners
Aka pieces that benefit with working with cannon fodder (cheap non-Uniques) to achieve their goal.
We have that in essence (Dooku-Sep Leader and Vader-AoE) but might be nice to see that fleshed out.

Dao Stryver. Mandalorian from SWTOR: Fatal Alliance book. He'd be a perfect beefy character for the Mandos to build around. He's kind of a souped up swiss army knife Boba with tons of tricks up his sleeve. Make it so that he can't benefit from Commander Effects or something, give him all his abilities, cost him somewhere around Boba BH. It'd be great to run him and a small cadre of Mandos. Mow people down!

It might still be a little early to create him since the comic he's in just came out no too long ago, but I think a Jahan Cross would be cool. He could give the imps a different sort of character, a spy who can shoot.

Fett survives a Sarlaac and Maul "survives" being cut in half. But Chewie, no one brings him back. I am happy and saddened at the same time but back to the topic at hand.
