So...... I was reading the order of doing things in the FAQ. And.... I came across a tricky situation. I use a Wedge Baron Do squad sometimes, b/c i figure the evade and force barrier thing is pretty sweet. But now I wonder if it even works..... B/c if I understand it correctly now, Force Barrier is ana ctive force power, like Battle Meditation and what not. So when the Sage gets attacked, the guy on offense should be in control on how he wants things to go.... so, couldn't he make the Sage roll evade before the barrier comes in? Thus negating the fforce power entirely until he pops it again? Or am I just reading to much into it and making it harder than it actually is?

The character in control of the Baran Do Sage chooses the order, since the responce makes him the active player. Force Barrier would be cancelled after the his save for it is fully resolved.

Seeking clarification: If the attacker (not the Baran Do) makes a successful save against Force Barrier, then either damage goes through to the Baran Do, or is avoided by it making the save for Evade. In either case, Force Barrier ends. If the attacker fails the save, the requirements for canceling a Force Ability have not been met. Correct?

Just goes to show you what happens when I try to answer questions in my hotel room. Yeah, I misread Force Barrier. The save wouldn't cancel it out.
