Yo.
So - I heard a rumour that the Holocron is going. Is this true? And - if so - what will happen to all the articles?

I read over on gamers that if you want the articles, you should save them. .mht files are the format I use for such things (of course I use IE so...)

Yes, the Holocron will be closing soon. We don't know the exact date, just that it could be any day now. I downloaded all the large scans of the cards and a lot of interesting articles on map making and such. It will be a shame to see it go, but the people behind the site realized it was time.

I'm most concerned about the rules resources. They are essential documents for this game and aren't really hosted in an easily accessible spot elsewhere.
Perhaps copes of them could be added to this site?

Perhaps copes of them could be added to this site? I believe I have all the rules docs saved - Glossary, FAQ, Errata, LOS guide, Stealth guide, Skiff questions and so forth. Will get them posted here somewhere. I'm hoping Shinja can set us up with normal pages to display them, rather than in the forums. I'll upload them to my file shares as well, once I finish reformatting everything to bookmarked PDF.

I've also downloaded the rules resources. Pretty much, if there is something you want, go download it now. It will find a new home somewhere, I'm sure. I think the important stuff is already on gamers.

I have them but it's 900MB. I used the Firefox add-on pifler to download all images. It took about an hour to set up (you need to open the first image of each set and then pilfer allows you to create a sequential list of all the images in the set and then you just download it as a page [Save Page As option in Firefox]).

Wow, that must have taken awhile! Having to open up each of the small images to get to the large image would be very time-consuming.
