This came up in a game the other day. I thought I knew the answer from reading a post on this forum, but my opponent held a different view.
If a squad has Gha Nachkt bringing in a bunch of Mouse Droids at 2 points each, then Gha Nachkt is defeated, do the remaining Mouse Droids revert back to being worth 3 when determining victory points for the rest of the skirmish?

The character would still be worth the reduced points.
Basically, Rapport comes into effect only when the character whose points are being reduced is added to the squad and remains in effect for the rest of the skirmish. It is not something that changes a character's cost midgame.
