We're winding down on the design side of Scum and Villainy and will be sending it to the printers soon, which means it's time for another donation drive!

This one is for V-set #4, Scum and Villainy, along with the Jedi vs. Sith microset and Epic Set 2. The suggested donation is going to be $25 for Scum and Villainy/Jedi vs. Sith (they come packaged together) and an extra $5 to get the Epic Set 2 in addition to that, so $30 total. These are just suggested donations; a donation is not required to get a set, but donations are the only thing that allows us to continue getting these professionally printed, so please try to make a donation, even if it's not the full amount. If you can donate extra for people who are unable to, that's excellent too. ThumbsUp

The goal this time is $3800.

As always we'll be using the pointman system, but since this is a Gencon release we're hoping to be giving most of them to the pointmen then. The thread for volunteering to be a pointman should be up soon.

Funny it's not in the first post. Going from memory, it should be some time in mid June.

Well, I'm seconds away from sending along my 30 bucks - if I can ever get the paypal page to load. It seems they're having server issues!

Anyway, do we have to crosspost that "Hey I donated" anywhere like we have in the past, or is mentioning it here good enough?

Update!!!

We are going to be ordering the sets on or before June 22, meaning that will be the deadline for donations and requests. Number of donors is down a little, so there might not be as many extra sets as there have been in the past. If you want to be guaranteed a set, please donate, but at the very least you do have to get in touch with your pointman and let them know that you need a set ASAP so we can know how many we need to order.

Thanks for your donations!

It might be that folks didn't realize it was so close. I plan on donating in the next few weeks :)

I just donated. This is the first time that I've donated to a V-set. What do I need to do now that I've donated? As I understand it, I need to let the pointman for my state know ... are the pointmen assigned yet? Finally, several people in my area have recently gotten into the game but may not be able to donate ... is it possible for them to get sets and if so how?

Thanks in advance!

Actually with me, I just forgot to. :)

But that's all taken care of now - 30 more bucks in the coffers! I'm all square!

What you need to do is go register at www.swmgamers.com/forums and then go to http://swmgamers.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=213 (the V-set Pointmen forum) and see if there is a pointman for your state. If there isn't a thread for your state, you can either make one and become the pointman (this would be a good way to get sets for the other people in your area) or contact urbanjedi about finding your pointman.

If you have friends who haven't donated, they can still get a set, just request the number you need in the correct pointman thread. Donating isn't required to get a set, just requested (although of course if nobody donates, we don't get to print!).
