can someone please explain to me how recon works? I'm kind of confused

If the character with Recon has line of sight to an enemy character at the beginning of the round you get to roll twice for initiative and choose the roll you would prefer to use.

ok so you don't have to have two people with recon for it to work?

not at all. One is plenty provided you can keep them safe enough getting that LOS.

Recon is one of the most poorly worded abilities imho... Never understood why Threw in
the phrase "in the same squad" ... as it includes the character with recon

 Wow.....I thought the same thing. I thought it meant you had to have two mini's with Recon for it to work.  BTW Welcome to the boards blackbeltzman.  Just so ya know bud, this would be a good question in the Rules thread. Whenever your next question arises you can post it there.
