I can't find a decent updated glossary definition for Diplomat and I was hoping you guys could help me out here. What special abilities and force powers can ignore the Diplomat special ability/attack Diplomat characters? Can Verpine Shatter Gun target Diplomats?

i do not believe so unless there are no other characters in line of sight. Although it allows you to ignore cover, it swtill makes you target them.

Verpine Shatter Rifle would not work on Diplomat as it does not bypass either of the restrictions of Diplomat (Can't be targeted; can't be attacked).
Anything that does not target or generate attacks (i.e. Force Repulse, War Throat) would work as they don't trigger either of the restrictions.
Indiscriminate works as it bypasses both restrictions.
Bombad Gungan also works as it allows you to effectively ignore all restrictions.
Finally, a combination of abilities and Force Powers that will allow you to bypass both restrictions would work. A great example is Lord Vader. He can use Overwhelming Force which bypasses the restriction of being attacked, and combine it with Lightsaber Sweep which bypasses the restriction on targeting, thus allowing him to attack characters with Diplomat.

Wait, you can't just lightsaber sweep a diplomat?
