I've noticed that since shinja's overhaul of the site, there have been a few mistakes in what used to be a nearly flaw-free site. The first one I noticed was the squad builder. Where did the little columns where you could check your ratings and comments go? I'd really like it if that got brought back.
Another issue I saw is that Bloo Chat is gone. I hope it is for that huge rework it needs, but if it is not, where'd it go? And why did it not come back online with the rest of the site?

How are any of those things (besides Garm) flaws? There is absolutely nothing wrong with not having the chat, or changing around the columns. It's just different. It's not a flaw.
That said....Shinja made a comment in another thread about bringing back the missing columns on the squad builder page at some point. He said he removed them for now to help with load speeds for anyone with a large number of squads.
As for the chat...well, there was almost never anybody in there anyways....

IMO, if having BlooChat back will bog down the rest of the site, it should stay gone. There are plenty of IM programs out there...  Load times for trades, squad builder, and forums are far more important.
