Su'cuy gar, all.
I haven't been on bloomilk in ages (and I owe some friends, mainly Saber1, an apology for dropping off I'd the face of the earth....so sorry guys) but I wanted to get some feedback on a project a friend and I have been working on.....
I'm not sure how many - if any - of you are familiar with Fool's star wars miniatures roleplaying adaptations.....the first was called a TacRPG and the second was called Star Wars Miniatures (CE). (the CE stood for campaign edition)
It was basically a "lite" version of the d20 RPG that combined that format with Star Wars Minis' faster paced rules and simplified mechanics.....it was fun to play and more accessible for entry level or low budget players than the classic RPG is, but it did have some issues with scaling and costing for abilities......
So my friend and I were talking about making our own system similar to Fool's rules but more akin to a full RPG.....
Basically, if Fool's game was an RPG for people who play star wars minis then our system would be star wars minis for people who play RPGs....
The project is almost completed, we are at the point where we need to work on costing things and playtesting.....lots and lots of playtesting.....
So I wanted to see how many people would be interested in such a game, if it'd be worth smoothing out all of the bumps and putting in hours of playtesting for a public release. (we may or may not also need help playtesting, more on that later)
