Oh alright a combo that I think would go well with revan is to use the boba fett from the same pack that revan came in TFU. You will win init. and be able to use his intuition to either get him in or out of LOS and get his cunning and double off. Revan isn't a tier one character although he can be a great figure if you know how to use him

In my opinion, the Sith got much more interesting and playable with the v-sets. Have you tried them out - the v-set Revan is really fun.
If you do want to build around pre v-set Sith, I think that Darth Malak, Dark Lord of the Sith, is a much better piece to start with.

The problem with the non-V-Set Revan is that he's a pretty bad piece for his cost, so there aren't a lot of good squads built around him. The trick is basically to build a squad that works in spite of being weighed down by Revan. (Don't get me wrong, I love KotOR--you'll find few bigger fans than me on the boards--and I think the sculpt for Revan is awesome... but his stats are not worth the cost.)
Having said that, I would probably consider pairing Revan with Echani Handmaidens. With four attacks, they will benefit pretty consistently from the +4 to attack he offers. Since Holo-Sidious is so cheap, I would definitely throw him in. Force Renewal would allow the Handmaidens to re-roll failed attacks (although in most cases I'd save them for failed Evade checks).
I'd round out the squad with a few "filler" pieces (Mouse Droids and Uggies) and at least one Fringe commander to boost the Handmaidens damage (Rodian Hunt Master, Jabba, Talz Cheiftain, maybe even Chagrian Merc Commander). Alternately, go with either Lobot and bring in what makes most sense when possible.
If I'm doing the math, I think something like: Revan (88) HoloSid (11) Echani Handmaiden x3 (69)
...leaves more than enough room to fit the Lobot of your choice.
