PLEASE READ BEFORE PLAYING!!!
A legal tile for tile wars must have the following: 3 adjacent, legal movement squares, on at least two sides of the tile. Two sides of the tile must be accessible (meaning no walls or pits for at least 3 adjacent squares on two sides of the tile.) The tile must be large enough to fit your entire squad on, there should never be one of your units on an opponents tile.
Players must pick their squad and their tile BEFORE revealing either to the opponent. After reveal, roll. Winner chooses weather to place tile first or set up first. Place first means you place your tile in the CENTER of the blank battle map (at least 7 squares from any side.) After you place, your opponent may place their tile either directly above, below, to the left, or to the right of your tile. The second tile must have at least two corners touching the corners of your tile (so it either makes a 10X7 or a 5X14.) After both tiles are placed, the player who placed their tile last sets up first. If winner chooses to set up first then loser does the above.
I believe that is everything...so...Without further adu, lets us begin the 200 point tile wars round!!!

Team Jedi Hunter, still stacked as always. :-P And I see that you've placed all the players who did not participate last week on the same team. I'm not quite sure how that's fair to the team. I guess I'll actually have to try to participate in this round.

Actually, for the most part, nobody on that team has any games at all in the last two rounds. The other three teams are now mostly active players, making it easier to find games for team FS I hope.

Bad matchup for Darth O, not helped by not being able to damage anybody with grenades due to rolls. The many seppy damage dealers were able to clean up the various minor characters and whittle mace down, finishing up in 3 rounds

JM vs Mini Tank
JM wins 199 to 27...
Mini tank: 39 HK-47, Assassin Droid 30 IG Lancer Droid 20 General Whorm Loathsom 18 BX commando Droid Spotter 18 A-Series Assassin Droid 48 IG-86 Assassin Droid x3 12 Gha Nackht 8 Battle Droid Officer 6 Mouse Droid x3
JM's 102 Basilisk War Droid x2 34 Mando TS 27 Demagol 23 Mandalorian Captain 11 Death Watch Saboteur 3 Mouse Droid
I honestly feel bad for using this squad. Before the first round the majority of Mini's power was knocked out, then after it I won init and took out the rest. He got a crit on demagol and killed him with hk, but the counter push messed his positioning up so much he was toast from there.

Isn't strafe only on your turn? Quote:As this character moves, it can attack each enemy whose space it enters; this turn, this character cannot attack any enemy twice and cannot move directly back into a space it has just left. This ability is usable only on this character's turn.

I played against thereisnotry, and I DID try, I just didn't win. (it should be thereisnowin) Anyways, I used my "Death to all Jedi" squad, which included:
53 Darth Maul, Champion of the Sith 51 Durge, Jedi Hunter 33 Sora Bulq 27 Lobot 20 General Whorm Loathsom 10 San Hill 3 Mouse Droid 3 Ugnaught Demolitionist
And, correct me if I'm wrong, thereisnotry used: Mace LOTLS Yoda (CS) Jar Jar Binks R2-D2 Salacious Crumb Dr. Evazan spaarti clone Ferus Olin
For my lobot's reinforcements, I brought in and uggie, a mouse, and a Kel dor BH. I won reserves once, at the very beginning! Here's what I chose: Rune Haako (bad choice, IMO. I didn't know that diplomat didn't work on CVL) 2x battle droids
The tiles: A desert one, and an open train car one. (thereisnotry probably knows the exact names of them)
Overall, a fun game. The only annoying part was the weird Vassal dice. 20s and 1s were most common, and got about 8(?) each. Thereisnotry played it well, but he just got lucky on his 3 crits on Durge in one turn. (and not to mention, the critical hit needed to just barely kill Sora Bulq) The spaarti immediately died after opening the door, and Jar Jar moved to the front.
Rune and San Hill hid in the train car, and a bunch of cannon fodder (ugnaughts and mice) Mace windu was towed in, and slaughtered the poor uggies and mice. He also blocked Rune from getting to Jar Jar, which was my ultimate loss.
I made Darth Maul leap over Jar Jar (that was the best move I made in the entire game) and moved him past Ferus. He did 40 damage to Dr. Evazan, but the traitor then attacked Maul, but betrayed his squad with the force power. And I took control over him. Eventually, Maul, san, rune, Ferus, uggies, and my battle droid died. Mace got towed past everyone, and took out Durge with his 3 crits. it was then a battle of the immediate attacks. Mace attacked sora, sora to Mace, and so on. HOWEVER, mace needed a crit to kill Sora. He had already made all of his attacks except for one and spent all of his force points for that turn, so he couldn't reroll. I had 50 HP left. Guess what Mace rolled? Yes, a crit. I djem so styled with no success, and he died.
Left was just my lobot and Kel dor. Kel dor attacked Yoda, but ended up doing damage to himself. Yoda finished him, and the Kel dor killed Jar Jar and lobot with self destruct. It was a fun game, and I'm not mad that I lost. (I'm just "displeased" with the 4-6 crits that Mace made!) Thanks for the good game, thereisnotry! It was my first game (CVL) and first loss.

Minitank HT defeats Darth O (just) 200 - 150
Minitank: Karness Muur Celeste Morne Atton "jaq" Rand Exar Kun, DFS Dr Evazan, Galactic Criminal Figrin D'an Caamasi Noble (forgot about no diplomat)
Darth O Lord Vader Mitt'thrawn 2 Storm Commandos AG Palleon Cerkza Scientist Grand Moff Tarkin Wicket Duros Scout R7
he charged up with all his dudes and pinned down my force with palleon while unleashing many attacks with storm commandos and vader. He made it to 150 to 40 or so. Unfortunately he forgot about my alchemy after i killed palleon, and i was able to infect vader, a storm commando, the duros, and the cerkza in quick succession, clinching the game in a very strange comeback

Obikenobi1 defeats SuperYodaMan
Score: 200-27
Obikenobi1's squad: --HK-47's Tile Wars "Meatbag Annihilators"-- 39 HK-47, Assassin Droid 30 YVH-2 54 EG-05 Jedi Hunter Droid x2 24 Commando Droid Captain 16 IG-100 MagnaGuard 15 Ponda Baba, Galactic Criminal 10 Figrin D'an 9 Battle Droid Officer 3 Mouse Droid
(200pts. 10 activations)
SuperYodaMan's squad: --Knick-knack, Quednak-- 30 Shedao Shai 27 Jakan, Most High Priest 21 Yuuzhan Vong Shaper 80 Yuuzhan Vong Hunter on Quednak x4 19 Yomin Carr 15 Yammosk War Coordinator 8 Yuuzhan Vong Warrior
(200pts. 10 activations)
Very bad matchup for SuperYodaMan. The presense of a YVH 2 was a little overkill. Good game, and hopefully next time the game will be a little more balanced. These squads were on polar opposites, and had i ran jedi's, i would have been in for a rought matchup for sure.

Confirmed. I resigned after losing three Quednaks and Shedao. The YVH2 wasn't the kicker; it was those blasted EH droids and half your squad having Twin.
If it hadn't been that this was my first Tile Wars game ever, I would've run a different squad; I didn't realize how small the tiles actually were, and almost wasn't able to fit my squad on the tile. I was banking on Mando running his Imperial squad again. After I saw his squad and realized how I matched up (or didn't, rather), I was tempted to forfeit up front, as it would have been a much better usage of our time; we could've played a second game instead of wasting time on this one.
Highlights: Mando's YVH2 grenaded my Yammosk, subjecting it and 4 other units to damage. I saved on all of them, avoiding 150 damage. Then I proceeded to miss two galloping attacks and got my quednak killed. On Mando's next turn, his Commando Droid rolled two 20s with its double attacks.

All I can say is that I'm really getting pissed off by HK-47 squads; I've faced two back-to-back now on the exact same tiles. . Also upset by power creep in the V-Sets. I wholly admit defeat, but not because of inferior play or squad building. Rather, it's the matchups and those darned VASSAL dice. Had I run the squad and tile I was debating against this one, things would have ended much differently. Minitank (W) vs. SuperYodaMan (L), 200-9 Minitank - on Detention Block 39 HK-47, Assassin Droid 30 IG Lancer Droid 20 General Whorm Loathsom 18 A-Series Assassin Droid 18 BX Commando Droid Spotter 48 IG-86 Assassin Droid x3 12 Gha Nacht 8 Battle Droid Officer 4 Mouse Droid x2 3 Ugnaught Demolitionist (200pts. 13 activations) SuperYodaMan - on Extension Bridge 63 General Grievous, Scourge of the Jedi 46 X-1 Viper Droid 20 General Whorm Loathsom 19 Super Battle Droid Commander 32 A4-Series Lab Droid x2 20 Battle Droid Sniper x2 (200pts. 8 activations) I lost initiative in the first round, then lost Whorm (because of where I had to set him up) to HK combining with the Spotter. My snipers were in position to take out Whorm, but couldn't because of the lost initiative, the death of Whorm, and the fact that almost MT's entire squad was covered by the spotter's Energy Shield, so I settled with picking off his Mice (to force Whorm to move in to give the Lancer Twin on his strafe) and Uggy meat shield. On my next turn, I went for broke and Double-Extra attacked HK (who was shielded) to try to kill him. All my attacks hit with more than sufficient rolls, but I missed all of the Energy Shield saves. MT then Strafed me and took out my X1 on his following turn. In the interest of time, and understanding that I wasn't going to receive any more points in the game, I forfeit following that turn. The game took less than one full round.

The win for me is confirmed. I can also confirm that yodaman did not lose due to inferior play, but due to the absolutely terrible matchup that had him ruined right from the start.
