With the V-Set, I believe there may be more of a need for status tokens then ever before. We have all sorts of permanent effects at this time, that were not quite as overwhelming prior to the release of these new sets. I love the new abilities, but I think its becoming increasingly harder for players to play and keep track of everything.

Poisoned
Tortured
Corrupted
Communication Supplies
Explosive Supplies
Medical Supplies
Grenades
Haunted
Jedi Trained
Muur Talisman
Personalize Shields
Various Versatility abilities
Mando trainer's permanent access to Evade/Parry
Absorbed Life Energy

I'm pretty bad at photoshopping... If the community put together a list, would anyone be willing to make up a slightly presentable group of token images that we could then print on hard stock to help us sort out the growing number of permanent effects and abilities we are seeing in the game?

Not a fan of new status abilities. 1 or 2 per skirmish is fine, but it shouldn't be to the point that we can't remember them and we need tokens. I haven't run into the need for tokens yet.

We use small rubber bands. Two or three colors per game has always worked.

Hows that work? You just put them around your neck?
JK, but i do think all these new abilities are overwhelming. Maybe other players aren't having an issue with it, but I do, and i could see it getting worse in time. That being said, I do disagree about not liking them. I really like permanent effects, i would just like a better method of keeping them organized.

Closer than you think. Around the minis neck. Jak is thinking of a green-suff Sactchel Charge with the small rubber bands.

I'm sorry, that was too easyBlushing Blushing
These go around the base. You can get a bunch of small rubber bands at a beauty parlor.

When Cincy was still playing, we would just write the status on the card sleeve.

Some would put something under or on top of the mini, such as a coin or a die to indicate something special.

Nice!

Here's a few more suggestions:

Reinforcements (since they don't count for victory points)
Magma Pebble
Crab Armor (Vergere)

Can we get these "carded" with the printing of V-set 4 or 5?

Printed on cards professionally like V-sets.

Short answer, no. First, you would need original artwork. You just cut and pasted images into them. And I'm not entirely sold on the cost/benefit ratio of having these printed.

To be complete, if you use original artwork (don't just photoshop stuff) we can talk.

How many could you get to fit on a SWM card?
So the "player" would have to cut them apart to use them. Why not make them squares instead of circles then.

We printed up two Bounty Hunter cards, I don't see why we could not print up one of another type of card. Just make it really useable for the game (ie not lame).

Work on it for a few weeks and get back to all of us (so if this is something that you just make up in 30 minutes, it's probably not good enough). V set 5 won't be sent to the printer for another 3-4 months. Take the time to make it right.

As was mentioned.. I just googled some images and quickly made some tokens that people could use if the want but printing them would be a huge liability and breaking copyright I'm sure. I don't have the skills artistically to make original art. I can make them circle or square and put them on a sheet for people to printon their own which is proably best
