Here is what I have been thinking of Darth Nihilus

--Nihilus, Lord of Fun-ger--
71 Darth Nihilus, Lord of Hunger
29 Visas Marr
36 Atton "Jaq" Rand
27 Darth Bandon
14 Exar Kun, Dark Force Spirit
16 R7 Astromech Droid x2
6 Mouse Droid x2

Exar has the Dark Aura on to force terrible saves upon all of Nihilius' victims! Visas Bodyguards the Lord of Hunger. I haven't had a chance to try it yet, but I'm excited to! I might cut 1 R7 for 2 Sith Pawns though...

Maybe. I haven't had a chance to try out Nihilus yet so I don't know how good he is at keeping himself healed with his various powers. Extra Defensive powers are never a bad thing though, and giving Jaq Illusion could be nice in a pinch as well.

I think there's maybe something with Maul, Sith Infiltrator and the Sith Recruits; I think Maul will be more deadly with a potential reroll each round, and he was already close to being a strong piece. The Marka Ragnos Force Spirit could help him too.

Marka Ragnos and Zanna is pretty good. Run Marka in for damage and board control, when he dies Zannah gets extra force and can spend em more often. She can put out some hurt and not die in the process.

No she can't. Eternal Force Spirit only allows a character to spend Force twice a turn, which Zannah can already do.

4 extra force points doesn't hurt though.

actaully markas text states that you can spend his force points once per turn... so she would be able to use her master of the force 2 as well as spending his force points...

It also says you may spend your FP's once per turn. I like your point of view better though.

There should be a ruling on this dating back to WotC days. In Limited format, you could theoretically have a Hand of the Emperor, Emperor Palpatine, and someone granting Force Spirit to the Hand. Would Force Spirit stack with Hand of the Emperor to allow spending Force points 3 times?

Force Spirit lets you spend FP's one extra time per turn.
So you should be able to spend yours, extra for the spirit, extra for the Hand. They all say "extra".

and therfore, they should stack.

an opinion for a dude(me) who has not completly examined the current set, and it's possible meta changing options,
but, A Sith shooter squad would be interesting, and certainly uncommon.

This is based on how Dark Master interacts with Master of the Force 2. Eternal Force Spirit says nothing about spending Ragnos's FP's extra, merely that they can spend his FPs once and the targets Force Points once. A figure with MOTF 3 would be unable to spend Ragno's FPs if they used their own FPs twice.

So do the Sith Recruits make Exar Kun competitive at all?

I think Galactic Funk meant the original Exar since now he has exploding Transfer Essence targets.

Exar with cheap Dynamic Entry (my term for Transfer Essence into SD characters) is still fun. May not be great vs Mace MF'in Windu but always fun at parties. I think him and Malakili might be a fun duo as he heals Exar as he returns from striking. Put in a few low cost savages (Raks?) and pawns. Oh, well. Just thinking.
