So, I was just told that my next game, a Booster pull from Scum & Villainy, are the following pieces

Character Cost

Zam Wesell, Bounty Hunter 44
Han Solo, Rebel General 38
Sith Blademaster 30
Jedi Infiltrator 22
DRK-1 Dark Eye Probe Droid 20
Dug Black Sun Vigo 20
Feral Voxyn 20
Mandalorian 17
SpecForce Technician 15
Veteran Ugnaught 15
Veteran Rebel Trooper 13
Rodian Assassin 12
Squib Trader 10
Padawan Learner 9

It’s a 150 point squad, no faction limitations obviously. Not crazy about the choices but hey, how often is a booster pull great (actually, I liked my pull from Vengence but I digress.)

I came up with

Character/Cost

Zam Wesell, Bounty Hunter 44
Han Solo, Rebel General 38
Dug Black Sun Vigo 20
SpecForce Technician 15
Rodian Assassin 12
Squib Trader 10
Padawan Learner 9

Cost = 148 Pt’s (God I hate wasting points!)

Am I missing anything obvious? The CE’s aren’t much to brag about, the Blademaster and Infiltrator seemed too specialized for a random game (If I knew I’d be facing mostly Force users ….,) Ditto on the Probe Droid and Voxyn; too specialized because I suspect more squads will be shooters, not melee.

I suspect this is the best I can make do but I’m looking for an opinion.

Cheers,

Adam

We just played a "sealed" event yesterday, and I used the infiltrater in my squad.
He can walk through walls. Better to do that 3 x, than LS throw 3 once, IMO.
He & Zam were my 2 favs in my squad.

I thought about the Phase ability, but with the Trader handing out Satchel Charges, I thought I could better use the pts elsewhere.

I agree that Zam looks like a potentially fun piece though.

Rodian Assassin with twin (SpecForce Technician) is a nasty surprise. Dug also with twin (shudder).

Post game summary. Against another shooter squad, I lost on the last roll of the game. He had a BX Sniper/Spotter squad that was actually similar to mine, but I had Han and Zam and he didn't have any good uniques and opted for the best pieces in the 20-30 pt range. He killed Han but what lost me the game is he killed the Dug Vigo on the last shot which put him over me points wise 70 - 57 .... dang.

The second game I got slaughtered by a Melee squad that marched up to me slowly but surely; I couldn't shoot to save my life and once based, I was dead one piece at a time ..... thank god booster pulls aren't the norm Crying
