I have all the minis made except rebels and imperials . I have doubles and triples of most common and uncommon . I haven't had time to play and was thinking of selling them . What are they worth at this point and what would be the best way of selling them? Also is now the right time ? Or will they go up in value if I wait some time? You guys know best so what do you think? Remember it is a complete collection and all starter sets and battle packs .

P.S how did obama win!?

Hey Mr. president I built this collection

Maybe $2000 or so tops. There has been a complete collection on ebay for the past month or so that hasn't sold. Now the asking price is down to $2300.

Recently another guy sold complete sets of every set. The 40 piece sets (except IE) went for 100, the 60 piece sets for around 150 (except ROTS) and the Huge sets for around $200 so that makes about $2100 or so minus all the fees of selling.

Your best bet would be to try and sell it by set either here or on ebay and hope that you can find buyers for the less than appealing sets.

and mitt romney lost for multiple reasons.... I'm going to be as non-biased in my answer as possible, as i do not want to start a flame war... just stating widely accepted views..... first... he tried to enact voter restriction procedures that clearly targeted minorities... for that, he lost the minority vote.... his debate catch phrase "binders full of women", which went viral the second he said it, alienated himself from the female vote... lastly, when it became apparent that he wasnt concerned with helping the middle class, and the only major tax cuts he was going to provide were to upper class and corporations, he lost the middle class vote.... so all he really had left were the upper-middle class and up... and corporate votes..... and that makes up a considerable minority of america..... hence he lost 10 of 11 swing states....

again, this response is an answer to the PS question, and is in no way an attempt to start a flame war....

There really isn't a right time to sell them, as the values aren't really going to fluctuate much. They'll probably drop a little as interest wanes, then jump up again as they become rarer.

Personally, unless you really need the money, I'd say just keep them. Just because you don't have time to play now doesn't mean you never will. Also, if you want to play, try to introduce others to the game. As you have a complete collection, it makes it quite easy as they can use your minis instead of building their own collection; That's how it is with me and my friends.

Also to add another point to why Romney lost, while most Americans agree that the economy is bad, they don't blame Obama, they still blame Bush. And when Romney's plan involved bringing back some of the policies from the Bush administration...

Going by Zuckerberg math, I'd say at least 4 billion dollars.

Understand that SWM is a hobby, not an investment. If you're buying little plastic men with the expectation that their value will increase, you will be disappointed.

Provider number 1 values the collection at 200,000 quatloos, as the Intergalactic exchange rate isn't what it used to be.

2K USD.

You can get any price you want, you just have to hold on to it a little longer. Or a lot longer. Or a lot lot lot longer.

The pieces are dropping in price daily. If it's dollars you're after, then I'd say sell what you can, for what you can. You're not going to get anywhere near what you want or think it's worth, but the longer you wait, the less you're going to make. At singe point I imagine they'll level out be in price, and then creep up a very little, but this game is no longer alive for the profiteers.

There are definetly people on bloo milk who would buy them individually or in sets. You might make more or less that way depending on how much you sell them for, but the people here will definetly use them. Please list prices of collection in trading(forums) and I definitely am interested in buying singly.

Here's a thought. I've got a collector's copy of War of the Rings (check it out on BGG). It's worth over a grand and considered a good investment over time. Only 2000 were ever made and each is numbered.

I want the small and med figures to play with. You could trade me those if the numbers crunched and I could trade you War of the Ring. The rest of your Large and Huges you could turn over profitably as singles on eBay.

Just a thought.

Cheers!
Rob.
