So, I haven't heard any one mention this yet so I thought I would. Is there any chance of us getting a new version of a characters that we already made in the V-sets? I know theres still thousands of characters who havens been made, and I can only think of a few figures that are unique that have been in more than 1 vset (well exclude epics from this) but han, luke, vader, more of the same right? In particular im looking at shimmra. Just like wizards no one is perfect and some times stat blocks miss their mark. Just looking at the comments I don't really see any one who seems to be happy with him and he is certainly a pivotal character who DESERVES to be made. I know were still heavily lacking in all other vong uniques, which im still pushing for a vong based set, but does any one seeing us get a new shimmra in the near future? I just made a killer mini for him, and would really like the stats to match. What say you bloomilkers?

Shimmra sounds good, I also think a Clighal remake is needed, even with Tekli.

Sure, there's no reason we wouldn't remake a piece we already made in the V-sets. I think we are actually quickly approaching that point with some factions (Vong being primarily amongst those). It's all about priorities, though: Remaking WotC-created pieces and creating new unrepresented pieces are a slightly higher priority, mostly because it's what more people tend to want. Remaking a piece that was released 2 or 3 sets ago generally wouldn't be a popular as remaking a pieces that was made 6 or more sets ago, assuming both need the remake just as much.
I do agree that we could use a new Shimmrra eventually.

Yup, remaking WOTC stuff is a bit higher on the priority than remaking figs who were first introduced in the Vsets. (Though I still was able to some tweaking to the Rebel Kyle ;) )
I do think we've been doing this long enough, that remakes won't necessarily be rejected. Vong is sort of reaching the saturation point of what Uniques could be made.

Remaking Vong makes complete sense, actually. Luke, Leia, Vader came out repeatedly. The unique Vong are probably as central to the Vong as the OT mains are to their factions. No reason not to repeat them (mulitple times), especially if there aren't as many options in canon.

While there arent as many unqiue vong I can would say there would be enough pretty important charcaters to warrent being made to figures. At least 15 different ones there could be.

A new Nom could be fun. He had a long and varied story - so it would be easy to come up with a completely different take on him
