Hey guys! Not to sound snarky but I have had some stuff up on the "What you want to see" page for a while and really felt as if they were being over looked. Here are two charcters that I think could make very good V-set characters and would like all your opinions of them. Thanks! BlooMilk
Having finally finished the ENTIRE new jedi order series I realized how seriously lacking on some key vong pieces we are. Heres a pivotal character that I (sorry for the self horn tooting) did a near perfect job of capturing his essence in the books and how he can be transferred in minis.

Harrar
Cost: 33
Hit Points: 80
Defense: 16
Attack: 8
Damage: 10

Special Abilities
Unique
Force Immunity (Enemies cannot affect this character with Force powers, or spend Force points to reroll attacks against this character or to respond to this character's attacks and abilities)
Sacrifice: Yun-Harla (For each living enemy a Yuuzhan Vong ally defeats the save required to pass a Vonduun Crab Armor check is decreased by 1. This bonus stacks.)
Radank Claw Graft (Replaces Turn: Touch; One adjacent ally gains +10 damage when making a melee attack for this rest of the skirmish ; save 11. This ability can only be used once per skirmish and cannot be rerolled)
A New Begining (New Republic Followers gain +2 attack against Yuuzhan Vong characters)

"From here, then, we must at least attempt to mark a new beginning." ―Harrar

The radank claw ands a new and fun ability to the field, but I may consider making it vong only, we don't really want to GML with extra damage though. And I REALLY like the sacrifice ability, I made it in such a way with the colon to a certain god so that ability can be used with a different gods name in front of it for as many gods as there are and as many priests as we make! Please let me know what you think!

o I just started watching season 4 of star wars the clone wars and saw these guys and think it would make for a really interesting new game mechanic. Let me know what you all think. I would to see a mini of these guys.

Zygerrian Slaver 22
Hit Points: 80
Defense: 18
Attack: 8
Damage: 20
Special Abilities
Pilot
Paralysis (A living enemy hit by this character's attack is considered activated this round; save 11)
Slaver (When this character defeats a living enemy that enemy joins this characters team with -5 defense -5 attack (minimum 0) and 10 hit points ; save 11. This save cannot be re-rolled)

"Slavery is the natural order of things. The weak deserve nothing more than to kneel before the strong, bound to our service." ―Queen Miraj Scintel

For Harrar I'd look at applying a bonus to the save rolls (sorta like Darth Vader, Dark Jedi does for stormtrooper attacks) instead of reducing the save - as is seem like an awful lot of record-keeping will be required.

for the slaver I'd approach it like the rakghoul - defeat the enemy place a character (probably one named "slave"). This way you utilize already established rules and essentially accomplish the same result.

I'm with Lord Ball on the Slaver, I think a Rakghoul-type system would work best. Paralysis is prefect on the Zygerrian, nice job!

My only problem with the rackghoul based thing is when you get bitten by a rak, you be come a rak, there pretty much one in the same. But if you take a clone as your slave, vs. a civilain as your slave vs. a sith lord as your slave, all are going to be vastly different, even as a slave.

While I like the "Paralysis" idea, my Zygerrian Slaver had this SA

Enslave (If an adjacent enemy character is reduced to 20 Points or less by the end of that round, it is enslaved and joins this characters squad. If an enslaved character remains adjacent to an enemy character by the end of a new round, the enslaved character is freed and returns to its original squad. Characters cannot be enslaved or freed if they are adjacent to other members of their squad at any time. Unique characters are not enslaved with a save of 11.)

I tried to avoid the Rak issue, gave the player a chance to enslave lower cost pieces outright and gave the opposition at shot at "freeing" the slaves.

Just my take.

Fair point, but there's a limit to what you can represent in the game. The slave ability could get pretty powerful if the opponent was using pieces such as Cad Bane.

The problem with slaver is that when you steal a high cost piece your opponent will just kill it and win with points, hence why the Rakghoul or even the Reprogram idea may be better candidates for turning characters

Well with issues like cad and any other power piece, piece of the negatives your defense at max is going to be 17-18, which isint to hard to hit. On top of that theres a total of 10 hit points to take down what ever 'power player' there was. As victory points, I have never played a game using point costs or such, but I could add "Victory points are awarded to the opposing player when the slaver ability is set in to effect.

My point with Cad Bane was that he's a piece that has a very high damage output and has abilities like Stealth and Evade that could let him stay alive for awhile even if he only had 10 hp. If I enslaved Cad Bane, I might be able to get off 80 damage before Cad went down.
