Quote:
Mettle: If this character spends 1 Force point to reroll its attack or save, add a +4 bonus to the result. If the character can spend Force points more than once per turn, bonuses from additional uses on the same turn are cumulative.

^ The wording is oddly specific about number of Force points spent.

Would Force Suppression block the bonus from Mettle?

As I read Force Suppression, the extra force point is spent on 'nothing'. Or, if you prefer, is spent to satisfy Force Suppression. The cost of force powers (including rerolls) is not increased. It just says you have to spend the force point, not that the cost of the power is increased.

Force Suppression: Force 2, replaces attacks; For the rest of the skirmish, this character gains the following Force ability: Enemy characters within 6 squares must spend one extra Force point each time they spend Force points

Seems like an odd interaction where it's one 'spending' action, but the spent force points go to different purposes (1 for Force Suppression and the rest for the force power).

Naturally, wait for Sithborg, but if this came up mid-game that's how I would read it.

Good point. The wording does avoid a direct cost increase for the power. Seems deliberate the more I think about it.
