I can tell you my least favorite map: Korriban. Everyone dies way to fast, and no one is safe.

My personal favourite is Rhen Var Citadel. I like how the design funnels the action into the middle gambit room, and I like the snowy graphics.

A special shout out to the two new Mapmaker maps on the restricted list though - those are really nice as well.

That map is awful. You could point your group towards the restricted/standard lists (you can get a nice pdf of the July 2012 list here: http://www.swmresources.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=258:restricted-map-list&catid=9&Itemid=104) - that way imbalanced maps like Korriban don't get used.

I have always been partial to Old Casino and more recently Jabba's Palace.

Spoiler alert....

I'm eagerly awaiting the new "Jedi Archives" that Jedicartographer is currently working on, I think it's going to be loads of fun. Woot

Imperial Base/ Chancellor's Starship. I like the way you have to make risky moves that pay off in order to get a superior firing position.

Bespin/Cloud City. It might be difficult when ur facting heavy-push squad and ur on the side with Lambada, but I dunno I'm sentimental for it. Looks great, my favourite location from my favourite episode what's not to like :)

If only I could get my hands on this map, thou....

I've only had a limited amount of maps that I've played on, but I like the train station (I know a bunch of people hate this) but I love override! So many doors!

Ravaged Base a.k.a. Commander's Office. It's very balanced between melee and shooting and I've done well with both on that map. It's got good ways to advance, but also requires some skill to navigate. If you find yourself in a sort of stalemate with your opponent having some people in the turbolift that's in gambit and you holed up in the Office, there are ways out of it on both sides, you just have to be clever about your timing. It really rewards good play while not being too complex.

I've also been fond of Asteroid Base lately. It's a fairly simple map gameplay-wise, and is strong for melee. If I bring Vong it's almost always on that map.

My favorite map hasn't come out yet, but JediCartographer is working on the finishing touches to it. That will be the greatest map ever for huges, skirmish and scenerio/CE play.

But for now I love Remote Listening Post and Modular Base for my huges.

Tha map is done, dude! I love it! I'll send you a printable version this weekend!

My Favorite JC map... Probably Theed
My Favorite AG7 Map... A toss up between Peaceful city and The Yavin Ruins
My Favorite Chris West indy map, Probably off world shipping center, but I really want his new maps but I haven't bought them yet, but I will soon.
My favorite official map..Mos Eisley. I have a great win loss record on it.

The folowing maps are REALY SPECIAL to me

Dark Lords tomb on Korriban-Total collaboration between me and AG7.
Jedi Enclave and Rhen Var Citadel- I feel like When Deri Morgan(fingersandteeth) and I work together, it's like Lennon and McCartney...well more like Jagger and Richards....Well actually Slash and Axl. I can't wait to make another map with him again.
Mos Eisley Cantina- Me, Engineer,UrbanJedi, and Celestial Warrior all worked together on this and the process was really relaxed and positive.

Maps where I work with other people have always been really good experiences, except maybe early on when I tried working with this guy from Holland who was a total douche. The Collaborative maps are usually the best ones, because we have people looking at them from a gameplay standpoint, and Josh and I collaborate on the art and they usually make the best maps.

I hope Chris West lets me work with him someday. Smile

Yeah, we try to use restricted and standard most of the time. But Sometime when the person who chooses the map is feeling especially evil Angry, he chooses Korriban

Sweet I look forward to it! Also still waiting on the anchorhead redo to try out too.

Oh, whoops. I saw the email and meant to let you know that I had it and was going to put it up. Then I forgot about it lol (it's been a busy week at work!). Anyway, it should be up very soon, hopefully I'll get it done tomorrow.
