I've been waiting for some decent Savage shooter to hit the scene and that time has finally arrived. Bette is a solid piece in her own right but with Savage synergy from multiple sources she can be quite the handful.

Vette 31
Hit Points: 90
Defense: 17
Attack: 9
Damage: 20
Special Abilities
Unique
Pirate (Counts as a character whose name contains Pirate)
Twin Attack (Whenever this character attacks, she makes 1 extra attack against the same target)
Master Slicer (Replaces attacks: This turn, this character can ignore doors while moving)
Slave (This character has Savage and -2 Defense unless an allied commander is within 6 squares)
Slave Collar (Allies named Juggernaut or Sith Marauder count as a commander for purposes of Slave)
Stealth (If this character has cover, she does not count as the nearest enemy for an attacker farther than 6 squares when choosing targets)
Traps (Enemy characters within 6 squares get -4 Defense)
"If I die, I'm going to haunt you."

The key is to manipulate the Slave special ability. Use movement to isolate her from a commander and she is instantly Savage. Obviously, switching off Savage can be accomplished the same way. She is great, but the designers went a step further.

Watto 11
Hit Points: 30
Defense: 16
Attack: 4
Damage: 10
Special Abilities
Unique
Flight (Ignores difficult terrain, enemy characters, low objects, and pits when moving)
Loaded Chance Cube (Enemies within 6 squares must roll 2 dice for every save and choose the lowest roll. Enemies with a Force rating are immune to this ability.)
Slave Owner (At the start of the skirmish, choose one living follower. That character gains Slave and Self Destruct 20. If the chosen character would join an opponent’s squad, that character is defeated instead.)
Strong Willed (Cannot be affected by Jedi Mind Trick)
"Oh, yeah. Shmi... she's not mine no more. I sold her."

What?! Watto hands out Slave? Oh the possibilities. Choose your big gun and as long as they are a living follower you can give them Savage. Finally a big shooter can pair nicely with Celeste Morne. And let's not forget Malakili's rather potent CE. I've always wanted Boba/Jango/Cade/Cad/Han/etc to have +4/+10, Indiscriminate and Overwhelming. Ya know, just for fun. To that end, I put together my first attempt at utilizing this new mechanic.

It's light on activations. However, Jaq gets bonuses up to 100 points of very reliable damage output a round.

Because Mace didn't annoy people enough. Now his damage goes up and can't be prevented! Competitive? Probably not.
