If I can find a way to be there, I will be there! Only issue is that it's about a two hour drive from where I am. But mabye I can make it work.

I'm from a semi-small town east of Madison. And if I can come, I better start working on making tournament-worthy squads. I've got to represent after all.

I am hoping we have 20 or more. If I had to guess, I would say we will have 15-20 players.
It will totally be worth it if you come, I can promise you that. We will have a ton of prizes, and everyone goes home with something!
Plus the store is a restaurant as well, (it's closed during minis play) but you can order food, and the atmosphere is great! If you can, find some local players to share the ride with and make a day out of it.
It will totally be worth it!

Cambridge, Fort, Jefferson, etc ? Come to Kryptonite Kollectibles in Janesville; we play every Friday night -- gather/trade/etc at 5:30pm and start playing at 6pm. Team build formats are posted in the store or PM me your e-mail address and get added to the list. Jon joins us sometimes. And whoops us all times.

I'm not really comfortable giving out my town name online. It's just one of those things. By the way, is there an age requirement for this tournament?

That's okay, no problemo. I was just curious since: -- I grew up in Fort -- just wondered how far away you were . -- in case a few of us from Janesville rode together and you needed a ride . -- if you wanted to join us at the store Friday nights No age requirement for DCI, but if you're under 13 (?) you must have parental consent.

Its totally ok, but I encourage you to play anyways. There will be prizes for everyone who plays the whole event regardless of finish, and it will be a great time anyways. By all means, start working on your squad and get ready for a great day, second only to Gencon itself!

The age thing isn't for me. It's for my brother. I'm 17 and he's 12, so I wanted to make sure he could still come. And actually, I'm about an hour away from Janesville. I live about 20 minutes West of Middleton and Madison. I screwed up my directions when I said I lived East. I need more schooling.

Bring him along - everyone gets prizes that plays it all the way to the end (and a 12 year old is very likely to get "bonus" prizes from Jonny and me) :)

Extra prizes? He'll like that. We're both testing out squads and playing against each other so that if we're able to come, we'll be ready and won't end the day with a 0/4 streak or something like that. Depends on how many rounds there are.

Yep, it's a fully functional game store :) Also, bring $5 to play, Zaim puts all the money towards booster prizes, and they draft figures at the end, so everyone gets a couple of figures regardless of finish.

For anyone who lives close enough, there's two places to play in Madison. I don't know the exact addresses though. The first place is called Last Square. We play there casually on Saturday three weeks out of the month. The second place is called Pegasus Games. Every third Saturday of the month (usually) we play DCI sanctioned tournaments. 150 point constructed. The winners get promos and minis, and everyone else usually gets posters, maps, or scenarios. We have near twenty people who show up every week, so we're trying to get Madison more noticed for possible big tournament Invite like the one in Racine.
