I was wondering if his CE requires LOS or anything? I was using him today, and it his CE definitely seemed overpowered.

The CE explicitly says "choose a character within line of sight."

For the ally, I should have been more clear, do I need los to the enemy character?

You can pick any ally Malgus has LoS to, but the enemy chosen must be a legal target.

Then why doesn't it say that on the card? It's left just ambiguous enough to cause confusion. Can you elaborate more on how it works, just so I understand perfectly.

It says "You may then place a target enemy character of equal or lower point cost..."

Whenever it says target, you need to follow targeting rules. I can't see the CE getting much use, unless your opponent is dumb or you have an almost dead ally who you don't mind losing. Face Your Destiny on the other hand.....

Perhaps every time you have an almost dead ally. Or if there is an annoying Mouse Droid propagating CEs... burn an ugnaught to move it to your own starting zone where it's all but useless.
