Do either the Dathomiri Clan Mother or the Dathomiri Witch count as having a Lightsaber?
My guess would be "no", as their base damage is only 10. But I just wanted to be sure.

Someone can correct me if I am off but I believe the criteria for counting as having a lightsaber is that the sculpt (in this case the image on the card) has a lightsaber or if there is a SA or Force Power listed that includes the name Lightsaber.
The image on the Dathomiri Witch card of the Nightsister Sith Witch has had the lightsaber removed. The Human Force Adept sculpt never had one to begin with and neither have any abilities/powers w/ lightsaber so you are correct that the answer is no.

You would be correct, but the base damage isn't the reason. A character is considered to have a lightsaber if it has a visible lightsaber (for v-set purposes, if the image on the card has a lightsaber), or if it has the Lightsaber special ability, or if it has a force power containing the word Lightsaber. None of those conditions applies to the Dathomiri pieces.
Edit: GF beat me. However, please note that for SAs, it has to be the Lightsaber SA, not just an SA with the word Lightsaber in it. For instance, granting a character Lightsaber Duelist does not make them count as having a lightsaber.

Really, I didn't know this little detail. Is there a character who has this ability but not counted as having a lightsaber? Or is this theoretical? *edit - just looked it up. Every figure that has lightsaber duelist at this point just happens to also counts as having a lightsaber. BUT - it is a good point about not counting SAs with the word lightsaber in it (except for simply "lightsaber"), especially in the case of lightsaber resistance. Several figures have that, but none have a lightsaber.

Sweet, thanks everyone. I knew those criteria for determining whether a character has a lightsaber, but didn't know that about the distinction with Duelist etc. I'm learning. Good.
I noticed the RM for the Dathomiri Witch was the Nightsister Sith Witch, but I didn't notice the lightsaber had been removed. That would have been another clue.
In the movies, it's a bit clearer when a character has a lightsaber. FSSHHHT. BZZHOOM!
