Trust me my friend. Relax. Don't believe all this bull$%*t you may be reading about the next Star Wars movie. Yes, JJ Abrams is directing it... that's the only thing you should be taking from what you read.
From a money standpoint, why would you ever merge two different money makers??? You wouldn't. A rich man may own two franchises, soccer and baseball. But he's never going to try to get the baseball players to play soccer. There's no money in it.
If you'll notice, NOTHING that references the two franchises being merged is actually sorced OR referenced from ANY news report or article.

Yeah, I knew april fools is tomorrow, and I thought it was outlandish, but I just wanted to make sure... I mean, it was on Wook! How convincing, and I thought a little large scale to be a prank.
