Mimetic Combat Processor Glossary Text
Once per turn during this character's activation, choose one Medium character with Melee Attack within 6 squares. This character can use the chosen character's Defense, Attack, and Damage ratings if they are higher than its own. It must use all the chosen character's ratings; if any of them is worse than its own, it cannot use this ability. This character uses the chosen character's ratings for the rest of the skirmish or until it chooses another eligible character.
Let's assume that the JTD (Jedi Training Droid) has Saba Sebatyne's stats at the start of its turn. 21 Def 13 Atk 30 Dmg
At the end of the JTD's turn, it wants to take on Darth Vader, Legacy of the Force stats for the higher defense 23 def 16 atk 20 dmg
Would the "if any of them is worse than its own" part of the rule prevent the JTD from taking on Vader's stats?

Yes. All stats must be equal to or greater than the droid's current stats in order to mimic a new character.

Yes. All stats must be equal to or greater than the droid's current stats in order to mimic a new character. To put it another way, at least one stat must be greater, and none can be lower.
