Hey guy and gals, and bloomilk drinkers alike! I have recently started acquiring and painting some VERY old west end game star wars miniatures. Most of your have probably never even heard of this game. It was a role playing / strategy game from the late 80's (told you it was old) that used VERY tiny pewter star wars figures. These figures came in box sets of ten or blister packs, I came across a few boxes a while ago and finally decided to keep them instead of getting the $20+ a piece that they are worth and i'm now very glad I did. I hope you all enjoy! Comments and critique are always appreciated.
For thoes unfamiliar with pewter miniatures they come completly unpainted (these ones come assembeled) and I prime, painted, washed, and based these guys all by hand. All of them are finished as far as painting goes but I was so excited to show them off I didn't get all their bases finished so please bare with the WIP bases. I will update them as soon as I finish.
Please keep in mind that these figures are on a 25mm scale where as WOTC Star Wars Minis are on a 34mm scale which is a third bigger. In case you done get how small these are, take a look

And now, my all time favorite creation ever
Darth Vader Vs. Luke Skywalker on Bespin - When I bought these guys I got a Luke Skywalker Model and a Darth Vader Model, EVERYTHING else is custom made

And because I felt it needed it....the epic angle.

Gammorean New - Straight from the pits of Jabbas Dungeon!

Nien NunbNew - Now with a fancy new controls board to pilot any star craft in the galaxy!

Wicket (and comparison to WOTC Wicket) (totally neglected the white fur, ill have to fix that)

Admiral Ackbar

Emperor Palpatine

Imperial Officer

Princess Leia (Endor)

Excellent work on the painting! Especially on Leia's poncho: the camo is very subtle and looks fantastic. I think my favourite there is the Imperial Officer. Why couldn't we get a plastic one with a pose like that?

These look great! Top job on Ackbar's eyes.
How does Wicket's size compare with WotC Ewoks?

Fantastic job DB. I got a bunch of these as well. Just a heads up there were a number of editions of Monopoly that came out that used WEG minis as tokens that can often be picked up much cheaper than if you bought the WEG blisters or boxes.

The thing I love about the WEG line is it was 85% OT, 15% EU and 0% PT!

Thats because they came out in 1989 silly! There was about 10 years before PT was even an idea lol.
